This movie looks really good on paper: a pool movie based on a johnny cash song starring Johnny Cash! Johnny Cash plays “The Baron” an ex pool hustler who finds out he has a 21 year old son. He tries to make amends with his son so he can steer him away from a life of booze, bars and hustling.
Unfortunately it is made in the eighties. The cliche ridden made for tv movie script is predictable and soft. the wardrobe is incredibley bad. Why Johnny Cash does not wear his signature all black is beyond me.
